Beginning Sewing Workshop
In this workshop you will learn all the basics of the timeless craft of sewing. First, you will learn about the machine itself and how it works, including how to wind a bobbin and thread the machine. Then, you will learn how to use the machine including achieving an accurate seam allowance, backstitching, pivoting, and adjusting the speed. Finally, you will put your new skills to use and make a lined drawstring bag. As we make the project together, you will learn how to use the pattern, proper cutting and pinning techniques, the importance of pressing, and the basics of bag-making.

GAR01: Garment Sewing - Beginners Class
Join Ligia in taking this class and learn how to make this cute top with your favorite fabric! In this class you will learn the basics of starting to sew garments. It is a totally different world from quilting. From reading the patterns, taking measures, and sewing your cute top. Linda Renz - our teacher - is an experienced sewist and she has a heart for teaching. She will provide all the instructions as well as give 1:1 attention to each student.
