If we haven't met, my name is Ligia! I'm looking forward to getting to know a bit of you too! I'll go first!

I am originally from Brazil, but have been living in the US long enough to survive, I mean...., appreciate the cold and long winters in Illinois. Married to my best friend, we live in the north suburbs of Chicago with our 2 daughters who keep us very busy.

I started my quilting journey in 2020 during the pandemic, and have not stopped ever since. I quickly learned the importance of having a good machine and I bought a used Bernina 475. I fell in love with everything Bernina and started dreaming about owning a Bernina longarm machine one day. 

​

I believe dreams do come true! I recently had an amazing opportunity to buy my dream machine - a Bernina Q24 fully computerized, which pushed me to start my longarm business in 2025.
